Empires FALL!
There was a time when ROME ruled most of the known world. What was known as the “Roman Republic" became the “Roman Empire" around 27 BC. Through conquest of other nations, ROME became a center of world power for centuries!
Does anyone else see similarities to the United States of America today?
Octavian became Augustus after civil war and other factors made him the first “Roman Emperor." Under him and future “Emperors" the “Empire" grew to consume most of Europe, North Africa and the Middle East.
The "Roman Empire“ existed and controlled most of the known world for over 4 centuries! The United States has existed, so far, for nearly 250 years.
So here we are in a “mid-life-crisis" situation in world history. Rome, like us, went through stages of conquest, temporary defeats, ebb and flow of world politics. But, after drinking too much wine from lead lined brass cups, which contained water which flowed through lead pipes and consuming soups and other foods cooked in lead pots, the hierarchy's brains became damaged enough for Nero to “fiddle" as Rome burned!

Many said that Nero started the great fire to destroy the parts of Rome where he wanted to build a massive palace for himself.)
I wonder if the palace would have had giant golden letters on the front saying:
NERO!
Here's the tragic difference between The Fall of The Roman Empire and the United States today:
Our "Nero” doesn't need LEAD brain damage to be insane! The Mango Mussolini is just a FVCKIN insane, greedy, racist, Nazi without any external stimulation! He was born with those tragic imperfections!
The only similarity to Nero:
"tiny hands” wants to be "EMPEROR!"
He wants to ride through DC on a white horse, naked, with nobody brave enough to say:
"The Emperor has no clothes! And he has a tiny mushroom penis!”
The spineless, cowardly Republicans in the House and Senate are afraid of the Tangerine Traitor and Russian Kompromat! They place their position of power and enrichment above that petty thing called:
“REPRESENTING" their constituents!
Dismantling our entire system of government is a small price to pay for keeping their seats in Washington DC.
What can WE, the sane, empathetic, patriotic Americans, do to stop the "Fall of the United States?
PROTEST! FIGHT! Speak out against the monsters who want to destroy our country's system of government!
Write, as I do EVERY single day, here on Substack and other social media.
If you can afford it, do podcasts to get the TRUTH out in the ethos about the absolute EVIL which threatens to take away our rights and freedom!
We're at a critical point in the history of our nation. There's a “TUMOR" on the soul which is quickly metastasizing to other critical orrgans in the body politic.
We need treatment immediately! To stop the growth of this tumor! It's already spread to infect all Republicans in the House and Senate.
It's killed their desire to “serve" and become useless against the Cancer!
The Supreme Court has three new “growths" which have caused that “organ" to fail! Something MUST be done! Or we're doomed to go the way of the Romans in 476 AD!
Chemotherapy, radiation therapy or major surgery are options we should consider. I'm for immediate removal of the massive orange tumor first!
Treatment for the metastisized growths in Congress and the Supreme Court will follow in future elections. Once the political system is Cancer free, we can begin to heal this magnificent country's soul.
So…
Let's begin to treat this deadly disease!

I am reading Ray Dalio’s PRINCIPLES FOR DEALING WITH THE CHANGING WORLD ORDER - WHY NATIONS SUCCEED AND FAIL. I highly recommend. It is so insightful in its study of past rises and falls of great nations and societies. Ray is awesome. If you read the book, as Ray describes things, we are late stage 5 of the 6 stages. Extremely worrying.

You made a lot of great points and I’d like to say that while Nero wasn’t actually in Rome when the “Great Fire” began…he was at his ‘Mar a Lago’
like villa outside of Rome where he waited his equivalent of over 3 hours to get back to Rome to watch the fires get put out…Nero was fiddling around! Our “Great Fire” was that January 6th where our nation’s Capital was attacked and stormed (as if by fire) and Trump fiddled around in the White House for over 3 hours before trying to put out the “fires” the storming, rampaging throngs of his supporters to stand down and leave. Hopefully you get my comparison and I hope you see why it fits with your story.
