"PrayerTime?!"

As a devout atheist, I thank God or Allah or Buddha that I’m not forced to pray.  I sometimes think about those who weren't lucky enough to be born in the United States of America.

Muslims must pray 6 times today!

I guess if you miss one, you go to HELL.😊

I'm lucky!  I get to go to HELL without any obligation to kneel on a rug so many times or wear a little beany or confess MY sins to a pedophile.

I don't have to hate anyone because they believe in a different “Supreme Being!"  I don't have the urge to go to war or kill another person for their “flawed" beliefs in an invisible “friend" in the sky.

I've always been poor so it's a positive thing that I don't have to go to a building every Sunday and put part of my limited funds into a shiny bowl which theoretically goes directly to God but somehow buys the preacher a nice car.  My lack of "FAITH” allows me to read, study and learn from more than one book.

And, thank God, I don't have to burn ANY of them.

Being an atheist, I've raised my children without religion.  That way we all get to spend eternity TOGETHER in HELL. 😊

If you're still reading this, you're either smiling or praying for my instant death.😊  Either way, thanks for allowing me to express my heathenism in a country which, until t-Rump and his “Christian Nationalists" took power, had a separation of “Church and State!"

I've studied many religions and, believe it or not, read the Bible!  It was my decision to believe in the basic decency of humanity.  A religious friend once said to me:  "I don't know how you're such a good person without believing!”  I answered:  “I’d rather be honest and decent because it's the right thing to do than to have fear of an imaginary fiery place deter any tendency to do EVIL things!" 

A beautiful sunrise isn't “Heaven." 

A volcanic eruption doesn't mean there's a HELL. 

Reading those other books helped me become enlightened enough to question religion.  Seeing every race, creed and religion bleed the same red blood in Vietnam made me certain that we are ALL part of ONE race:  the Human Race!
